Good and cheap VPS'es
As a security guy, I like to explore the Internetz. Therefore, having a system with good connectivity and sufficient resources is key. Over the years I tested a lot. For some of the short-living tasks, I just start an instance on AWS, Linode or DigitalOceans. All have their pros and cons. However, running an instance 24/7 with some resources like > 16 GB RAM and more than 4 cores is somehow expensive of all of them.
Since some months I am running a VPS on SSD Nodes. TLDR: Lot's of resources for a reasonable pricing.
My VPS location is Amsterdam. Some of my #kaeferjaeger guys have ones in Frankfurt with also good speeds:
